About the speaker
Larry Nussbaum specializes in market-based conservation strategies, sustainable resource management, and green marketing as program director for Stewardhip Partners. He is an expert on environmental labeling and certification programs, having worked on several initiatives within the wood products, agriculture, and floral sectors. Before joining Stewardship Partners, he worked with the Northwest Natural Resource Group to foster development of Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) certification for the forestry sector and was responsible for some of the first FSC forest management certifications in the Northwest and British Columbia in conjunction with the international SmartWood program.
He holds a Masters degree from Yale University School of Forestry and Environmental Studies and a BS in Environmental Science from the University of Vermont. His passions include sailing his wooden ketch around Puget Sound.
