About the speaker
Gino Lucchetti has been with the King County Department of Natural Resources Water and Land Resources Division since 1990. He has been involved with a variety of programs relating to restoration and protection of King County and the "Tri-County" area's aquatic resources. His expertise is in endangered species analysis and recovery planning, fish ecology and behavior, and freshwater and estuarine ecology. He is also a member of the Sustainable Fisheries Foundation steering committee.
Before working for King County, he worked with the Tulalip Fisheries Department developing projects to study fish populations. He was also a fisheries research biologist with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. He has an MS in Fisheries and Wildlife Science from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and a BS in Fisheries Science from UW.
