Minor in Streamside Studies

The minor in streamside studies is designed to provide an understanding of streamside issues for the proper management of watersheds. The core classes provide an interdisciplinary understanding of critical processes in streamside areas: geology, ecology, hydrology, and fisheries ecology. Advising is available through CFR Student and Academic Services, located in Anderson 116 (cfradv@u.washington.edu).

Required Courses (15-22 credits)

ESRM/FISH 429 Water Center Seminar (1) Take at least three times.

ESS 210, ESS 230, ESS 326, or ESS 401 (var. 3-5)
Geological Studies

CEE 476 (3) or ESRM 426 (4) Hydrology
